Sparkles in Twilight

I think i would really like to just …brush her mane for a while. And share comfortable silences. And lay in bed with her, flank to flank, feeling her warmth and presence by my side…

And i would like to soak in her magic and feel the sublime currents of it wash over me in waves and clean the dirt out of my soul.

My mane and tail have never really grown out much longer than this. I mean… i’ve trimmed them a few times to even them out, but they didn’t need much work. I guess i just didn’t get the lovely long-mane genes like most ponies…

But…

…i think i might still have enough hair for a few ribbons maybe… i mean, if you really want to loan me ribbons. ;___; Do you have any in pink, purple, and indigo? Or even lilac? Those are my favourite colours. I think they’re really pretty…

I went to the pony prom, yes. …Just in case anypony was wondering.

I didn’t have a date though. I was secretly hoping i’d be able to go with Tootsie maybe… i was going to ask her even - but i haven’t talked to her since that morning, and well…

she was there with her own date… Some filly i didn’t know. Oh well… as long as she is happy! She deserves to be.

I was dimmed the whole time i was there. You know how it is… it’s pretty lame to go to the prom by yourself - I didn’t want anypony to see me walking around alone like some sad bachelorette. And i didn’t have any friends there anyway.

I guess the only real reason i went was to see if Twilight was there. It was probably a bad idea, because if i’d seen her there having fun with her friends it would have just made me sad.

But she wasn’t there. Huh.

I… noticed Trixie wasn’t there either.

Sometimes i roleplay with my little Twilight doll. …it’s not something i’m proud of. But she’s usually all i have…

I like to pretend she’s a real pony. The real Twilight!

But her stuffing doesn’t taste very good, and it’s too dry and scratchy. I bet the real Twilight is much more moist and slippery inside… just right, you know? Not like the way the doll’s stuffing sponges the spit right off my tongue when i lick… The real thing would be Just Perfect.

*sigh*

And i wouldn’t ever be chased away by a nest of spiders when i put my muzzle under the real Twilight’s tail. Uggghghhg… That’s the worst. *_*
