My mane and tail have never really grown out much longer than this. I mean… i’ve trimmed them a few times to even them out, but they didn’t need much work. I guess i just didn’t get the lovely long-mane genes like most ponies…

…i think i might still have enough hair for a few ribbons maybe… i mean, if you really want to loan me ribbons. ;___; Do you have any in pink, purple, and indigo? Or even lilac? Those are my favourite colours. I think they’re really pretty…

I went to the pony prom, yes. …Just in case anypony was wondering.
I didn’t have a date though. I was secretly hoping i’d be able to go with Tootsie maybe… i was going to ask her even - but i haven’t talked to her since that morning, and well…
she was there with her own date… Some filly i didn’t know. Oh well… as long as she is happy! She deserves to be.

I was dimmed the whole time i was there. You know how it is… it’s pretty lame to go to the prom by yourself - I didn’t want anypony to see me walking around alone like some sad bachelorette. And i didn’t have any friends there anyway.
I guess the only real reason i went was to see if Twilight was there. It was probably a bad idea, because if i’d seen her there having fun with her friends it would have just made me sad.
But she wasn’t there. Huh.
I… noticed Trixie wasn’t there either.
*sigh*
Have you ever seen the film Hoof? The one set in Neighverland; you know, with the pirates and Peter Paard and stuff… well remember when those Lost Colts use their powers of imagination to make a great feast appear in what had been empty bowls and plates?
…It’s pretty much just like that.

But her stuffing doesn’t taste very good, and it’s too dry and scratchy. I bet the real Twilight is much more moist and slippery inside… just right, you know? Not like the way the doll’s stuffing sponges the spit right off my tongue when i lick… The real thing would be Just Perfect.

I’m going to go home and put my letter to Her in the mailbox. I still haven’t, you know. …that’s pretty sad, isn’t it?
I’m going to seal the letter with a kiss. She won’t see that part - but my kiss will find its way to her unbeknownst. Maybe she’ll hold the envelope in her mouth when she picks it up. That the worshipful paper vessel of my invisible adoration might be pressed against the very set of lips that haunts my every moment… it’s a thought that makes me smile while i walk back toward Ponyville and away from the brink of oblivion.

Hope one day those tears can be not of sadness but of joy.This…took a while. A snail with a pencil attached to it’s shell could draw faster than me. And that hair is a pain with my skill level.
Was meaning to do this for a long while but I guess by now it’s just jumping the bandwagon. Didn’t color/ink/etc because I feel my coloring just ruins everything.
